These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of all services, facilities, classes, memberships, and digital platforms operated by SpinLab Ltd, an indoor cycling studio located in Faversham, Kent, United Kingdom (“SpinLab”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a class, purchasing a membership, or entering our studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. General Studio Use

2.1 Eligibility

  • Participants must be 16 years or older.
  • Those aged 16–17 require written consent from a parent or guardian.
  • You must be physically able to participate in indoor cycling activities.

2.2 Health & Safety

  • You confirm that you are in good physical condition and have no medical reason preventing participation.

  • If you have any health concerns (e.g., heart conditions, injuries, pregnancy), you must consult a medical professional before attending.

  • You must follow all instructor guidance, safety instructions, and studio rules at all times.

  • SpinLab reserves the right to refuse participation if we believe it may compromise your safety or the safety of others.

2.3 Studio Conduct

  • Respectful behaviour toward staff and other riders is mandatory.

  • We reserve the right to remove anyone engaging in disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour.

  • Personal belongings must be stored in designated areas; SpinLab is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

3. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

3.1 Booking Policy

  • All classes must be booked in advance via our App/Online booking system

  • Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received or you have sufficient credit

3.2 Payment Terms

  • We accept major debit/credit cards and other payment methods as listed on our booking app

  • All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • SpinLab reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings.

3.3 Cancellation & No‑Show Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the class start time.

  • Late cancellations or no‑shows may result in:

      •  Loss of class credit (for class packs and Memberships)

      • Repeated no‑shows may result in suspension of booking privileges.

3.4 Refunds

  • Class packs, memberships, and credits are non‑refundable unless required by law.

  • Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at SpinLab’s discretion.

4. Memberships

4.1 Fixed‑Term Membership Commitment

By entering into a membership agreement with SpinLab for a fixed term (including but not limited to 3‑month or 12‑month terms), you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be legally bound by the full terms and conditions of the membership for the entire duration of the selected fixed term. This obligation shall remain in effect without exception unless prior written authorisation for termination or temporary freezing of the membership is granted by SpinLab, at its sole discretion, in accordance with the provisions set out in the complete membership agreement. This paragraph is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

4.2 Membership Types

SpinLab offers various membership options, including:

  • Monthly recurring memberships
  • Class packs
  • Top up sessions

4.3 Membership Billing

Monthly memberships renew automatically unless cancelled. (See 4.1)

You authorise SpinLab to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

4.4 Membership Cancellation

You may cancel a monthly membership with 14 days’ notice before your next billing date, and in writing.

No refunds are issued for unused membership periods.

4.5 Membership Freezes

  • Membership freezes may be granted for medical or travel reasons at SpinLab’s discretion.
  • Freeze requests must be submitted in writing.

5. Health, Liability & Waivers

5.1 Assumption of Risk

Indoor cycling is a physically demanding activity. By participating, you acknowledge and accept:

  • The inherent risks associated with exercise
  • Responsibility for your own physical condition
  • The need to stop immediately if you feel unwell

5.2 Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • SpinLab is not liable for injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from participation unless caused by our negligence.
  • You agree to release SpinLab from claims relating to personal injury, property damage, or loss.

5.3 Equipment Use

  • You must use SpinLab equipment responsibly and as instructed.
  • Damage caused by misuse may result in repair or replacement charges.

6. Studio Facilities & Equipment

6.1 Bike Setup

  • Riders are responsible for ensuring their bike setup is correct.

  • Instructors are available to assist, but final responsibility lies with the rider.

6.2 Personal Items

  • Please use the area provided for convenience but these are not secure storage.

  • SpinLab accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

7. Digital Accounts & Data

7.1 Account Creation

To book classes, you may be required to create an account with accurate personal information.

7.2 Data Protection

  • SpinLab complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Your data is used only for operational, safety, and communication purposes.
  • Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Third‑Party Integrations

  • SpinLab may integrate with platforms such as Myzone or LegitFit for performance tracking and booking.

  • Use of these platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes to Services

SpinLab reserves the right to:

  • Modify class schedules
  • Change instructors
  • Update pricing
  • Close the studio temporarily for maintenance or event
  • We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

9. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards are non‑refundable and valid for the period stated at purchase.
  • Promotional offers may have specific terms and expiry dates.
  • SpinLab reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

10. Photography & Media

  • SpinLab may occasionally take photos or videos for marketing purposes.

  • You will always be informed in advance, and you may opt out.

  • Personal photography or filming in the studio is not permitted without consent.

11. Complaints & Feedback

We welcome feedback and aim to resolve issues quickly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
